Alohi is the company behind Fax.Plus, Dial.Plus, Scan.Plus and Sign.Plus, multiple online services. If you see one of these on your bank, card or PayPal statement, it's a payment for one of our subscriptions:
- ALOHI * FAXPLUS (sometimes followed by "PLAN" and "LES-OUATES", our location in Switzerland)
- Alohi SA (on PayPal)
- ALOHI * SIGNPLUS or other products
If you don't remember signing up, one of the reasons below usually explains it. If none does, contact us and we'll find the account.
Common reasons for a charge you don't recognize
- Someone else used your card. A family member, colleague or former employee may have signed up for a fax plan with your card, for example to fax a tax form or medical record.
- An account under an email you don't use anymore. You may have signed up years ago, or with a work or old personal email. Plans renew automatically until cancelled, even if nobody uses the account.
- A yearly renewal. Annual plans are charged once a year, so the charge can come as a surprise if you'd forgotten about it.
- You signed up expecting it to be free. The Free plan never charges you, but choosing a paid plan at sign-up does. See How can I send a fax for free?
- The charge isn't from us. We aren't affiliated with any other fax service. If your statement shows Apple or Google Play, the subscription was bought in a mobile app and is managed there - see How to cancel a subscription purchased via Apple App Store or Google Play.
Tip: search all your inboxes for "Fax.Plus", "Sign.Plus" or "Alohi". Our payment receipts are sent to the account's email address, so the inbox they're in tells you which account is being charged.
Contact us to find the account
Email support@alohi.com from any email address - you don't need to know which account it is. Please include:
- The date and amount of the charge.
- For card payments: the last 4 digits of the card. For PayPal: the name on the PayPal account.
- A screenshot of your statement showing the charge. You can hide other transactions - we only need your name and the Alohi charge.
We'll use these details to find the account and tell you what we can see.
Please contact us before filing a chargeback. We can usually identify the account and stop future charges faster than a bank dispute.
How to stop future charges
- If you can sign in to the account: cancel the plan - see How to cancel your Fax.Plus subscription. You won't be charged again.
- If you can't sign in, because you don't know the email or no longer have access to it: see I lost access to the email used to create my account, or contact us with the details above.
- If the charge came through Apple or Google Play: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account.
Can I get a refund?
Charges caused by an error on our side are refunded once confirmed. Subscription charges for an active account that has been used are not refundable. See our refund policy for details.
