In some countries, regulatory documents are required before you can purchase a fax number. Follow the steps below to submit your documents through your Fax.Plus account.
Prerequisites
- You must have an active Free (or paid) account with Fax.Plus.
- Make sure you know which country you want to purchase a fax number from, as requirements vary by country.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Sign up for a Free account (or log in to an existing one) on Fax.Plus.
- From your dashboard, navigate to Settings.
- In the Settings menu, click on Faxing.
- Scroll to the section labeled Fax Numbers Regulatory Documents.
- Click Manage next to Regulatory Documents.
- Click the Add Regulatory Documents button.
- Choose the country from which you want to purchase a fax number.
- Regulatory requirements will be displayed based on your selected country.
- Follow the on-screen guidance to:
- Select the appropriate customer category
- Enter required personal or business information
- Upload the requested supporting documents
- Review the information carefully, then submit your documents.
After Submission
- Your documents will be reviewed by the compliance team.
- You can check the status of your submission (Approved, Pending, or Rejected) from the Regulatory Documents section.
- If documents are rejected, you’ll be able to review feedback and resubmit corrected information.
