Who can use this feature?
Available on Business and Enterprise plans.
Accessible to Owners and Admins on Web App.
Your account hierarchy decides who can see whose faxes. Placing a user beneath another user in the hierarchy makes that user a Manager of everyone placed under them - able to see their Inbox and Sent faxes - regardless of role. For what each role (Owner, Admin, Member) can and can't do on its own, see Understanding roles and permissions: Owner, Admin, Member and Manager.
Note: Being an Owner or Admin doesn't by itself give you access to another user's Sent faxes - that access comes only from the hierarchy, and only when the user is placed beneath you in it. The Owner sits outside the hierarchy entirely, so even they can't see another user's faxes.
On request, Alohi Support can enable a shared Sent box for a fax number. Once enabled, any team member assigned to that number can see all faxes sent from it in their own Sent box, regardless of who sent them - both successful and failed faxes. This does not apply to the Outbox (faxes still converting or scheduled for sending), which remains visible only to the actual sender. Enabling this does not create any additional page charges. Contact Alohi Support to activate this for your account.
How to edit your account hierarchy
- Log in to your Fax.Plus account, and go to the Users section on your Dashboard.
- Click on Edit Hierarchy in the top right corner.
- Drag and drop users to arrange them into your desired hierarchy setup.
- Click Save to confirm and apply your changes.
