With Fax.Plus, you can change your fax number at any time - the remaining days of your plan carry over to the new number.
How to change your fax number
Web App
- Log in to your Fax.Plus account and go to the Numbers section from the top navigation bar.
- Find the fax number you want to change and click the three-dot menu (⋮) at the end of its row.
- Select Change Number.
- Choose the desired country as well as the area code and the fax number type for your new fax number.
- Complete the required payment and your fax number will be changed immediately. A one-time fee applies: $9.99 for a random or toll-free area code number, or $19.99 for a custom number.
iOS & Android
- Launch the Fax.Plus app (make sure the latest version of Fax.Plus is installed on your iOS device).
- Go to Settings and tap Numbers under Plan & Billing.
- Tap the 3 dots next to the fax number you want to change to open its details.
- Tap Change Number.
- Choose the desired country as well as the area code and the number type for your new fax number.
- Complete the required payment, and your fax number will be changed immediately.
By following the steps above, you'll obtain a new fax number from our extensive selection of available numbers across various regions.
If you already have a fax number with another provider, you can port it to Fax.Plus and keep using it without interruption.
Note: Your fax number will remain yours as long as you maintain an active plan. Nevertheless, your custom number will persist in your profile for an extra month in case you decide not to renew your plan. Mobile numbers cannot be used as fax numbers and are not supported for number assignment within the platform.
