When a recipient clicks on the email link to access the document sent through Sign.Plus, their action triggers an Opened event.
Upon opening the document, the recipient is prompted to check a box indicating their acceptance of the Electronic Records and Signatures Disclosure. Until this disclosure is accepted, the signer will be unable to review the content of the received document.
Once the Electronic Records and Signatures Disclosure is accepted, we will record the Viewed event in the document history. This record will appear when you track the progress of your document and within the audit trail. Additionally, when a recipient views the document, an email notification is sent to the document Owner (the signature requester).
