How to Enable SMS/WhatsApp Signature Request Delivery in Sign.Plus

Who can use this feature?

Available on Professional, Business, and Enterprise plans.

Only Owners and Admins via Web app

Sign.Plus allows you to send full signature requests directly via SMS or WhatsApp - in addition to the standard email delivery.

This means your recipients can receive a direct access link to sign the document on their phone through SMS or WhatsApp, making the signing experience faster and more accessible.

How to Enable SMS/WhatsApp Delivery

  1. Log in to your Sign.Plus Admin or Owner account
  2. Click on the Settings tab at the top
  3. Go to the Signing section
  4. Locate the section titled Signature Request Settings
  5. Click the Edit button in the top-right
  6. Find the Send via SMS/WhatsApp row and click the Manage button next to it
  7. Toggle On SMS and/or WhatsApp to enable one or both delivery options. This setting controls whether senders in your company can send signature requests via these channels
  8. You’ll be asked to certify that your organization collects voluntary consent from all recipients before sending SMS or WhatsApp messages
  9. Click Confirm to finish activation

What Happens After Enabling

  • Senders will now see the option to send signature requests via SMS and/or WhatsApp during the sending process.
  • They must provide the recipient’s phone number.
  • Recipients will get a message with a direct access link to sign the document.
  • All signature requests are also delivered via email.
  • Recipients must verify their email address before signing via SMS or WhatsApp link.
