Why am I seeing double billing on my monthly subscription?

If you've noticed a double billing for your monthly subscription, it's important to understand how subscription renewals and billing cycles work.

When you subscribe to a monthly plan, the billing cycle is set to renew on the same date each month to keep your dedicated fax number active. However, if your account becomes inactive, we still maintain your fax number for a grace period of 30 days, to allow you the option to reclaim it. This grace period is a courtesy to ensure the continuity of our services, but it can lead to confusion if reactivation occurs close to the billing cycle renewal date.

In such cases, your last payment would have covered not only the upcoming billing cycle but also the period your fax number was maintained during the account's inactivity. If you've been billed twice in the same month, it might be due to this overlap between the grace period maintenance and the renewal of your subscription.

Tip: To rectify this and reactivate your number for the current month, ensure that the default payment method linked to your account is valid. This will guarantee that your subscription and dedicated fax number continue to operate smoothly without any disruptions.
