In Dial.Plus, every call handled by your AI agent has a maximum duration. This ensures efficient use of resources, prevents calls from running indefinitely, and helps maintain smooth system performance.
Maximum Call Duration
- Calls can last anywhere between 60 seconds (1 minute) and 3,600 seconds (1 hour).
- You can adjust this setting to match your business needs and customer expectations.
How to Configure Call Duration
- Log in to your Dial.Plus account
- Go to the Agents tab
- Click on the agent you want to configure
- Open the Call Settings section.
- Under Max conversation duration, enter your preferred time (in seconds).
Example values:- 600 = 10 minutes
- 1800 = 30 minutes
- 3600 = 1 hour

When setting call duration, aim for a balance between:
- Customer needs – Allowing enough time for callers to explain their issues or requests.
