What is the process for number porting with Dial.Plus?

Who can use this feature?

Available on Professional, Business, and Enterprise plans.

Only Owners and Admins via the Web app

If you’d like to retain your current phone number (from another provider) and transfer it to your Dial.Plus account, we’ve designed a straightforward process to ensure a smooth transition.

How to Port Your Existing Number to Dial.Plus:

  1. Ensure your number is active and that your current provider supports number porting.
  2. Submit a porting request to our support team at support@alohi.com. Our team will review the request and respond within one business day.
  3. If your number is eligible for porting, you may be required to upgrade your plan depending on the destination country.

Note: For example, to port a U.S. number, a Professional, Business, or Enterprise plan may be required. A temporary number will be assigned to your account during this process.

  4. Once your plan is upgraded, you’ll be asked to provide:
    • A Letter of Authorization (LOA)
    • A recent invoice from your current provider (as proof of ownership)
  5. Once the porting process is complete, your original number will replace the temporary number in your Dial.Plus account.

Tip: If you’d prefer to keep both the temporary and ported numbers, simply upgrade to a Business or Enterprise plan, which supports multiple numbers under a single account.
