For sending a single fax to multiple numbers (bulk faxing), each with distinct titles and text, leveraging an email marketing service like MailChimp is recommended. Employ the email-to-fax functionality to transmit your fax. Here's how to proceed with sending a fax to multiple numbers while incorporating dynamic content:
In this tutorial, we'll be demonstrating with MailChimp. However, you can apply the same steps with any other email service provider that enables the incorporation of dynamic content into email templates.
- Login to your MailChimp account, and go to the List section on your Dashboard.
- Create a new list, and add new contacts to your list. Your faxes will be sent to this list.
- For the destination’s email address, write the destination’s fax number (along with the country and area code) followed by @fax.plus. For example: +16692001010@fax.plus.
- Once you are done with adding contacts to your list, go to Campaign section on your Dashboard to design your template.
- When designing your template, pay attention to the following points:
- Make sure you are sending the email from the email address you have registered on Fax.Plus, you have enough Fax.Plus credit to send your fax and you have enabled email to fax feature in your Fax.Plus profile.
- The subject of the email will be used as a reference note for that fax.
- Use Conditional merge tag blocks (such as *; FNAME; * or *; LNAME; *) to personalize the content of your template.
- Make sure you are sending the email from the email address you have registered on Fax.Plus, you have enough Fax.Plus credit to send your fax and you have enabled email to fax feature in your Fax.Plus profile.
