How to cancel my Scan.Plus subscription

Scan.Plus subscriptions are sold through the iOS App Store (for iPhone/iPad users) or Google Play (for Android users). To cancel, you go through your Apple or Google subscription settings, not directly through Scan.Plus.

On iOS (iPhone or iPad)

1. Go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
2. Find Scan.Plus in the list.
3. Tap on it.
4. Tap Cancel Subscription.
5. Confirm the cancellation.

After cancellation:
- You retain Pro access for the remainder of the current billing cycle.
- The subscription does not auto-renew.
- You'll receive an email confirmation from Apple.

On Android

1. Open the Google Play Store app.
2. Tap your profile icon (top right).
3. Go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
4. Tap Scan.Plus.
5. Tap Cancel subscription.
6. Follow the prompts.

After cancellation:
- You retain Pro access for the remainder of the current billing cycle.
- The subscription does not auto-renew.

Why we can't cancel for you

Apple and Google manage in-app subscriptions and don't share these subscriptions' billing or cancellation controls with us. We don't see your payment, can't modify your auto-renew setting, and can't cancel on your behalf.

How to confirm cancellation went through

After cancelling:

1. Check your email for a confirmation from Apple or Google.
2. Go back to your Apple or Google subscription settings; the subscription should now show "Cancelled" or with an end date.

If you don't see confirmation within 30 minutes, repeat the cancellation steps; it may not have completed.

I want a refund

For App Store / Google Play subscription refunds:

Apple: Visit (https://reportaproblem.apple.com) and select the Scan.Plus charge. Apple decides on refunds.
Google Play: Open Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & order history. Find the Scan.Plus charge and request a refund.

Free plan after cancellation

After your subscription period ends, your account moves to the Free plan. You retain:

- Your scanned documents.
- Your account profile.

You lose:

- Unlimited scanning (back to monthly limit).
- Cloud backup.
- Pro features (OCR, advanced editing).

You can resume your subscription at any time from the app.
