By default, Email-to-Fax only accepts emails sent from the email address registered on your Fax.Plus account. On Business and Enterprise plans, multiple team members can use Email-to-Fax - but each member needs their own user account on Fax.Plus.
Who can use Email-to-Fax
Email-to-Fax is available on all paid plans, but how it works depends on plan type:
- Basic, Premium (single-user plans): Only the account owner's email can send via Email-to-Fax.
- Business, Enterprise (multi-user plans): Each invited team member can use Email-to-Fax from their own registered email.
How to set up Email-to-Fax for team members
For Business and Enterprise plans:
- Invite team members to your account (if not already added or provisioned via the SSO).
- Go to Users → Add User
- Enter their work email address. They'll receive an invite to join your account. - Each team member activates their account.
- The team member accepts the invite and creates their Fax.Plus login.
- They use their own email address as their account login. - Each team member configures Email-to-Fax for themselves.
- The team member logs in to their account.
- They go to Settings → Faxing → Email to Fax.
- They confirm Ability to Send Fax via Email is enabled. - Each team member sends from their own email.
- When they send to `+[number]@fax.plus`, Fax.Plus accepts the message because the sender matches a registered team account.
What about plans that limit team members?
Business plans includes up to 5 team members. If you need more, upgrade your plan or contact support.
SSO-enabled accounts
If your account uses SSO, team members are provisioned through your identity provider. Each succesfully provisioned Fax.Plus user automatically gets Email-to-Fax access from their corporate email.
