If you’ve subscribed to a Fax.Plus paid plan using Google Play in-app purchases (IAP), you now have the flexibility to switch between plans directly from your Android device. This makes it easy to adjust your subscription based on your current needs.
How to switch plans on Android
To change your current plan from your Android device:
- Open the Fax.Plus Android app and sign in to your account.
- Go to Settings.
- Under Plan & Billing, tap Plan Details.
- Tap Plan type.
- Choose the plan you’d like to switch to.
- Tap Subscribe to confirm your selection.
Available plan changes on Android
If you originally subscribed using Google Play IAP, the following plan changes are supported:
- Free users can change their plan to: Basic (monthly or annual), Premium (monthly or annual), Business (monthly or annual), Enterprise (monthly or annual)
- Basic (monthly) subscribers can upgrade to Basic (annual), Premium (monthly or annual), Business (monthly or annual), Enterprise (monthly or annual)
- Basic (annual) subscribers can change their plan to Premium (annual), Business (annual), Enterprise (annual)
- Premium (monthly) subscribers can change to Basic (monthly or annual)*, Premium (annual), Business (monthly or annual), Enterprise (monthly or annual)
- Premium (annual) subscribers can change to Basic (annual)*, Business (annual), Enterprise (annual)
- Business (monthly) subscribers can change to Business (annual), Enterprise (monthly or annual)
- Business (annual) subscribers can change to Enterprise (annual)
- Enterprise (monthly) subscribers can change to Enterprise (annual)
- Enterprise (annual) plan cannot be changed.
* Some downgrade options, such as from Premium to Basic, may have downgrade eligibility conditions.
Note: Our Free plan doesn't include a fax number. Plan changes are available exclusively for subscriptions purchased through Google in-app purchases. Subscriptions obtained via the Fax.Plus web app will not be eligible for modification. Only account owners can make these changes from within the Fax.Plus Google app; the Fax.Plus Support team is unable to process them on your behalf.
Upgrade information
- Monthly to Monthly: Switching between monthly plans takes effect immediately. Please note that no pro-rated refund is issued.
- Monthly to Annual: Switching between a monthly plan and an annual plan takes effect immediately. Please note that no pro-rated refund is issued.
Downgrade information
- Monthly to Monthly: If you switch between monthly plans, the change will take effect immediately. Please note that no pro-rated refund is applied.
- Monthly to Annual: If you switch from an annual to a monthly plan, the change will take effect immediately. Please note that no pro-rated refund is applied.
- Annual to Annual: If you downgrade from an annual to another annual plan, the new plan will be applied at the end of your current billing cycle. You will continue to have access to your current plan features until that time.
Downgrade eligibility
Certain conditions may affect your ability to downgrade:
- Regional Restrictions: Some countries may require a specific plan level to maintain a fax number from that region and you won’t be able to downgrade to a lower plan.
- Ported Fax Numbers: If your fax number was ported in, you will need to maintain that countries specific plan to retain it and you won’t be able to downgrade to a lower plan.
- Toll-Free Numbers: Accounts with a toll-free number must remain on at least a Premium plan and you won’t be able to downgrade to a lower plan.
