Accessible to Owners and Admins on Web App.
Within the Alohi Suite (Sign.Plus & Fax.Plus), Data Residency allows the account Owners and Admins to select the storage location for faxed and signed documents. Admins have the option to choose different data storage locations for two different types of data: live data, and backups of their data.

How can I migrate my data?
- Login to your Sign.Plus account, and go to the Profile section on your Dashboard.
- Under the tab for Compliance, find Data Residency.
- Click on Edit, and select the locations of where you wish to store live and back up data.
- Click on Save to initiate the data transfer.
- You will promptly receive an email with more information.
What categories of data will be migrated when a new region is chosen for data residency?
- Stored signed documents (across your entire team).
- Documents sent for signature (across your entire team).
- Certificate of completion (across your entire team).
- The images of the usersโ signatures.
- Backups of all signed documents will be stored within the selected region for backup documents.
What categories of data are eligible for processing and storage outside an account holder's selected region?
The following file types will be processed in our Geneva and/or Zurich data centers, regardless of the userโs selected storage location.
- Raw Files
- Uploaded by the user in order to be converted and processed for signing. These temporary files will be automatically deleted once the file the conversion process is completed (maximum one hour after the file upload).
- Metadata
- Information about user's signed documents, account and billing.
- Thumbnails
- A small thumbnail of documents are cached in order to be served with the lowest latency.
Once a new region is selected and data migration process is initiated, all newly signed documents will be stored in the account holder's selected region. Regarding the previously stored signed documents, the duration of the migration process may vary based on the number of documents and their sizes, ranging from a few minutes to several days. Once the migration is finished, all previously stored signed documents on Sign.Plus, as well as newly signed documents will be securely stored with full encryption in your selected location.

How can I migrate my data?
Follow these steps to migrate your live and back up data:
- Login to your Fax.Plus account, and go to the Profile section on your Dashboard.
- Under the tab for Compliance, find Data Residency.
- Click on Edit, and select the locations of where you wish to store live and back up data.
- Click on Save to initiate the data transfer.
- You will promptly receive an email with more information.
What categories of data will be migrated when a new region is chosen for data residency?
- Stored sent fax files (across your entire team).
- Stored received fax files (across your entire team).
- Backups of all fax files will be stored within the selected region for backup files.
