If you need to change the Dropbox account connected to your Scan.Plus app—perhaps because the current account is no longer active or you'd like to use a different one — please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Remove the existing Dropbox Account
Option 1:
- Open the Scan.Plus app on your device.
- Navigate to Settings from the main menu.
- Under Document Settings, locate the Auto-Save to Cloud option.
- Find the Dropdown account currently linked to your app.
- Toggle the account to the left and select Delete to remove the connection.
Option 2:
- Open the Scan.Plus app on your device.
- Under Documents, select a document you wisht to share.
- Toggle the document to the left to reveal a menu.
- Select Share and then click Add Action to choose your connected Dropbox account.
- Long-press the Dropbox icon and select Delete to remove the connection.
Step 2: Connect a new Dropbox Account
- After removing the previous account, stay in the Auto-Save to Cloud section.
- Click Add New Destination and select Dropbox from the list of available cloud storage options.
- Log in with your new Dropbox credentials and grant the necessary permissions to complete the connection.
Step 3: Verify the new connection
- Save a test document or scan to ensure your new Dropbox account is receiving files correctly.
- Check the designated folder in your Dropbox account to confirm the document was saved successfully.
By following these steps, you can seamlessly switch Dropbox accounts and continue using Scan.Plus without any interruptions.
