How can I add a new action when sharing or saving a document?

With Scan.Plus, once you've scanned your document, you have the flexibility to easily share it. This can be accomplished through a multitude of actions conveniently accessible within Scan.Plus mobile app.

You have the freedom to select your preferred action from a diverse array of choices:

  • Share : Available 3rd party apps from your mobile device will be revealed where you can send out your document to your preferred app or contact.
  • Email: You will be directed to your email app to dispatch your document.
  • Photos: Your document will be saved in your personal media gallery, with each page stored as a separate JPG images.
  • Sign Doc: You will be directed to Sign.Plus app to sign your document, or request signature(s) from other recipients.
  • Send Fax: You will be directed to Fax.Plus app to send your document as fax.
  • Add Action: You can choose your preferred action from the range of options provided by third-party apps on your mobile device, and have it show up on the menu for actions.


Follow these steps to add your custom action when sharing scanned documents:

  1. Launch the Scan.Plus app.
  2. Go to History, you will find a list of your previously scanned documents.
  3. Find the document of your preference, and swipe left.
  4. Next, tap on Share , and view the menu of actions.

  5. Tap on Add Action to add your choice of app to keep as an action.

    Tip: You can always customize your Add Action app by simply long-pressing on it, and selecting your choice of app as prompted.
