How to Change Your Agent's Language
To set the primary language for your AI receptionist:
- Navigate to Agents in the Dial.Plus dashboard.
- Select the agent you would like to edit.
- Open the Character tab.
- Under Language, choose the primary language your agent should use when communicating with callers.
- (Optional) Enable Reply back in user's local language if you want the agent to automatically respond in the caller's preferred language when supported.
Your changes are saved automatically.
Choosing the Right Voice
The agent's Language setting determines the language used in conversations, while the selected Voice determines how responses are spoken.
For the most natural experience, we recommend selecting a voice that matches your agent's language. For example:
- Spanish language → Spanish voice
- French language → French voice
- German language → German voice
