Once you’ve upgraded to a paid plan, you can assign phone numbers to your AI Agents. This allows customers to call your number and be assisted directly by your agent.
Key Rules:
- One phone number can only be assigned to one agent.
- One agent can have multiple phone numbers assigned.
How to assign a number to an agent?
Option 1: Assign a number from the Numbers Tab
- Log in to your Dial.Plus account.
- Go to the Numbers tab.
- Locate the number you’d like to assign.
- In the Assigned to column, click on the current value (or Assign Agent).
- Select the agent from the list. The number will now be linked to that agent.
Option 2: Assign a Number from the Agents Tab
- Log in to your Dial.Plus account.
- Go to the Agents tab.
- Click on the agent you want to assign a number to.
- Click Assign a Number (or Manage Numbers if the agent already has one).
- Select the number you’d like to assign.
- To add more numbers, click Assign Another Number and repeat the process.
Your agent is now connected to one or multiple phone numbers and is ready to handle incoming calls.
