How to connect a phone number to an agent

Who can use this feature?

Available on All Paid plans.

All members via the Web app

Once you’ve upgraded to a paid plan, you can assign phone numbers to your AI Agents. This allows customers to call your number and be assisted directly by your agent.

Key Rules:

  • One phone number can only be assigned to one agent.
  • One agent can have multiple phone numbers assigned.

How to assign a number to an agent?

Option 1: Assign a number from the Numbers Tab

  1. Log in to your Dial.Plus account.
  2. Go to the Numbers tab.
  3. Locate the number you’d like to assign.
  4. In the Assigned to column, click on the current value (or Assign Agent).
  5. Select the agent from the list. The number will now be linked to that agent.

Option 2: Assign a Number from the Agents Tab

  1. Log in to your Dial.Plus account.
  2. Go to the Agents tab.
  3. Click on the agent you want to assign a number to.
  4. Click Assign a Number (or Manage Numbers if the agent already has one).
  5. Select the number you’d like to assign.
  6. To add more numbers, click Assign Another Number and repeat the process.

Your agent is now connected to one or multiple phone numbers and is ready to handle incoming calls.
