Adding dynamic fields to your document templates allows for customized and personal content each time you use the template. A dynamic field can be a name, date, address or any other type of information that changes from document to document.

Follow the steps below to add a dynamic field to a template:

Step 1: Selecting the Recipient

  1. Navigate to the template section and upload a template.
  2. On the left sidebar, under Recipients, choose the Sender option. This action determines who the dynamic field will correspond to when the template is used.

Step 2: Adding the Dynamic Field

  1. In the Fields section, find the Text field option. Click on it to select.
  2. Drag the text field into your document template where you want the dynamic information to appear.
  3. Once placed, a settings menu should appear to the right of your template. Here, you can customize the details of your dynamic field.

Step 3: Customizing the Dynamic Field

  1. Click on the field labeled Dynamic Field Name and enter the specific identifier for the dynamic content (e.g., “Client Name,” “Date,” etc.).
  2. Adjust the font, color, and size of the text to match your template’s style.

Note: Make sure to expand the text field adequately. Click and drag from the corners of the text field to resize it according to your needs. Note: The size and shape of the text field cannot be modified later when the template is in use, so ensure it is set correctly during the design phase.

Step 4: Finalizing the Dynamic Field

  1. After customizing the settings, review the placement and appearance of your dynamic field.
  2. Click Next followed by Save to finalize the changes to your template.
