How can I setup SSO on my account via Okta?

Who can use this feature?

Available on Enterprise plan.

Accessible to Owners and Admins on Web App.

To enable Single Sign-On (SSO) for your Fax.Plus account through Okta and allow your team members to access Fax.Plus from their Okta dashboard, ensure that you possess Admin access for both Fax.Plus and Okta.

Note: If you are a new user of Alohi services (Fax.Plus or Sign.Plus) looking to enable Okta SSO on your account, please follow the detailed guidance provided here.

Once confirmed, follow these steps to activate SSO via Okta:

Step 1: Add Fax.Plus app to Okta
  1. Login to your Okta dashboard, find the tab for Applications, and click on Add Application.

  2. In the Okta Integration Network gallery, search for “Fax.Plus”, then click on Add.


  3. Make sure the application label is set as “Fax.Plus,” and click on Done to complete the installation.

  4. Next, under the Fax.Plus app settings, find to the tab for Sign On, click on View Setup Instructions, and keep a copy of:

    • Identity Provider Single Sign-On URL

    • Identity Provider Issuer

    • X.509 Certificate


Step 2: Configure SAML 2.0 on Fax.Plus
  1. Login to your Fax.Plus account, and go to the Profile section on your Dashboard.
  2. Find the tab for Security in your Admin profile, and look for the box for Company-Wide Settings.
  3. To the right of Single Sign-On (SSO), click on Activate.
  4. Fill in the required fields of the configuration panel:
    • Fill in the Entity ID with the Identity Provider Issuer provided.
    • Fill in the Single Sign-On URL with the Identity Provider Single Sign-On URL provided.

    • Add in the Base64 certificate text in the section X.509 Certificate.

    • If you want to continue logging in using your Fax.Plus username and password (this applies only to the admin), please leave Only Allow SSO Login for Admin User option unchecked.

  5. Click on Confirm.
