For sending a fax through Gmail, you must endure that you're using the same email address linked to your Fax.Plus account.
Follow these steps to send a fax from Gmail:
- If needed, download the Fax.Plus add-on from Google Workspace Marketplace.
-
Login to your Gmail account, and click on Compose as if you are sending an email.
-
Within the To field, enter your recipient's fax number, followed by "@fax.plus". For example: +16692001010@fax.plus. Ensure you include the plus (+) sign along with the number's area code.
-
Attach your documents you wish to fax.
-
Use the email's body to include an optional cover page, and use the subject line as a note for your fax.
Tip: Learn more about how to disable sending the body of an email as a fax cover sheet in this article here.
